If you go to a search engine and look for boating links, you will find thousands of them. A simple Google search for "boating" returned over 1.14 million hits.
Some are public interest sites looking to promote boating, boating safety, or some more narrow agenda; some are merchants and vendors trying to sell us stuff; and many are private boaters looking to share their enjoyment of boating with others.
I make no attempt to provide a thorough listing of links.
This my own
idiosyncratic list of sites that I have found enjoyable, useful, or
entertaining.
They are loosely organized by type, but many of the sites
cover several
different items. Click the

I did get carried away and decided to try to have every official U. S. state boating site. I found something from every state, but, frankly, a few of the state sites were pretty hard to navigate.
